Born and raised in New York City, Sophie’s passion for art began at a young age. She attended LaGuardia High school in NYC as a visual arts major and studied history at Barnard College. She is now a Special Education teacher and local artist on the Upper West Side, finding inspiration all around her.

Her portfolio spans a variety of mediums including watercolor, gauche, ink, and acrylic paint among diverse subjects. She also paints live guest illustrations at events, creating a unique and memorable piece of fine art for all guests and for any occasion!
